FULL LEASE:$250/month
Up to 5 rides per week, (allowing 2 days of rest for your horse), 1 free riding lesson each month, and full access to your KEC horse; in cooperation with KEC operation hours.
HALF LEASE:$150/month
Up to 3 rides per week, 1 free riding lesson each month, and full access to your KEC horse; in cooperation with KEC operation hours.
BUDDY LEASE:$75/month
This lease is for some of our retired and injured horses.It provides them with a human companion to love them and care for them as they heal and live out their days in this serene Iowa countryside.It provides you with the opportunity to love and care for a horse that could truly need and benefit from your care and attention.Most of these horses are not able to be ridden, but there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy your KEC buddy!This may be perfect for people of any age who are not able or wish to ride, but still love and want to be around horses!!
Note
KEC does reserve the right to decline any leases that will not present an appropriate and/or safe match of horse and rider during the application process.
Finally, some KEC horses available for half lease may also be used in the KEC riding academy; and notice will be given during the application process.
