Keith Equestrian Center
We are a family owned and operated equestrian facility in the beautiful rolling countryside of Southeast Iowa. Our mission is to develop and showcase the unique abilities of the American Saddlebred and the people who love them. We believe in offering excellent care and attention to every person and equine that comes to KEC, with a commitment to safety, and a desire to represent Christian principles within our beloved equestrian world.
Kelsi Keith-Rusch
Owner/Trainer/Instructor
Kelsi is the Owner, Trainer, and Instructor of Keith Equestrian Center. She got her start training horses at a young age. She has started and finished over 100+ horses. With many more having been in training with her. "I love starting a young horse and putting a foundation on them so that in any discipline that horse will be successful. It is a blessing to be a part of a horse's life and to see them blossom with training."
Kelsi also enjoys teaching students, from beginner riders to advanced show ring competitors. Her students have had much success in the show ring. including achieving National Titles. Her love for teaching led her to graduate with a Bachelors in Secondary Education Business/Science from Buena Vista University. She also attended two years at William Woods University Prior where she studied Equestrian Science.

Kelsi is Currently the President of the Iowa Horse Show Association and a board member of the Iowa Saddlebred Association and the Iowa Breeders Futurity. She is passionate about giving back to the horse community and growing/promoting the American Saddlebred Horse.
